Job summary

University of Vienna is seeking a University assistant predoctoral to join the research team in the 34 Faculty of Law. The role includes participation in teaching, research and administration, with a focus on International Corporate and Commercial Law. The contract may extend up to 4 years under certain conditions.

You will work under Univ.-Prof. Dr. Chris Thomale along with a small team, support dissertation progress, and contribute to courses as per collective bargaining rules.

Qualifications

• Excellent command of written and spoken English (C1).
• Didactic competences / experience with e-learning.
• Team player with high social skills.
• Knowledge of university processes and structures.
• Basic experience in academic writing and with research methods.

Responsibilities

• Active participation in teaching, research and publication projects.
• Work on dissertations and courses independently within the collective bargaining provisions.
• Contribute to research projects in International Corporate and Commercial Law.
• Engage in administration tasks in research, teaching and administration.
• Assist in developing and delivering courses under the university framework.
