The University of Vienna seeks a pre-doctoral researcher in geoecology to strengthen research and teaching on the ecological functioning of wetlands. You will contribute to the group’s research and to the VISESS doctoral school, while integrating into a vibrant international team.

You will pursue a dissertation on soil formation in wetlands, publish in scientific journals, and participate in external funding applications. The contract supports teaching duties and field work as needed.

Qualifikationen

• MSc or diploma in a natural science discipline.
• Expertise in geoecology, soil science, or related field.
• Fluency in English and German.
