Zusammenfassung

TU Wien, Vienna's leading research and educational institution in technology and natural sciences, offers a position as University Assistant Prae-Doc (all genders) 30 hours/week for up to four years in the Institute of Information Systems Engineering.

Responsibilities include contributing to research and teaching, supervising theses, and participating in projects and publications. Start: October 2026, with a salary according to the Austrian collective agreement for university staff.

Qualifikationen

Master’s or Diploma degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Experience with academic and scientific work (thesis or initial publication).
Excellent command of English.

Aufgaben

Contribute to research and teaching activities and examinations.
Contribute to Software Engineering teaching in German and English.
Supervise students (Bachelor’s and master’s theses).
Participate in research and project activities.
Deepen your scientific and academic expertise.
Write a doctoral dissertation and publish academic papers.
Participate in scientific conferences and other academic events.
Assist with organizational and administrative tasks.
