We are looking for a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join the Liebscher Lab, where we investigate how neural circuit dysfunction drives CNS disorders, with a primary focus on amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and frontotemporal dementia (FTD). Our mission is to uncover the cellular, molecular, and network mechanisms underlying disease progression – and to translate these insights into therapeutic strategies. Our lab combines cutting-edge in vivo imaging, electrophysiology, and computational modeling with multiomics to bridge mechanistic understanding from the neuron to the brain-wide circuit level. We are seeking a bioinformatics specialist to drive our multiomics projects and combine it with existing snRNAseq and GWAS data. You will collaborate closely with our experimental team and clinicians / neuropathologists to link molecular signatures to circuit changes in ALS/FTD.
