About the Role

You will work across infrastructure operations and internal security practice, operating Linux‑based services, shared platforms, and core operational tooling. You will strengthen internal security processes and support technical readiness for services that move into shared environments such as Kubernetes. You will collaborate with teams across the organisation and contribute to the reliability and security of central platforms. Depending on experience, the role offers room to take ownership of selected areas and influence how platform and security practices evolve.

Responsibilities

• Operating and improving Linux infrastructure and related service operations
• Managing monitoring, logging, backup, restore, and operational controls
• Contributing to internal security standards, compliance preparation, and security processes
• Reviewing technical designs and identifying security improvements for shared platforms
• Supporting secure practices for containerised workloads and related services
• Working with teams that introduce or migrate services and ensuring technical and operational readiness
• Participating in the team’s on‑call rotation

Profile

• Solid Linux operations background
• Experience with infrastructure components and modern service platforms
• Understanding of Kubernetes concepts and secure operation of workloads
• Knowledge of security fundamentals across systems, networks, identity, and data
• Ability to structure technical topics and communicate decisions clearly
• Interest in contributing to and, with experience, shaping security and platform practices
• English fluency (German beneficial)

Our performance‑based salary models reward extraordinary commitment and success. The minimum annual gross salary according to the collective agreement is EUR 44,450.00. The actual annual salary depends on your skills and experience.
