The Project
A major data centre construction project in Linz, Austria, is seeking an experienced P6 Planner to join the project controls team. This is a live build with an established site team, offering a rotational setup with flights/travel and accommodation fully covered.
The Role
- Build the project programme from the ground up in Primavera P6 — this is not a schedule-maintenance role; you must be able to develop a full baseline plan independently
- Develop, resource-load, and logic-link the construction programme across all packages (civils, structure, MEP, fit-out, commissioning)
- Produce lookahead schedules, progress updates, and critical path analysis
- Run baseline management, change impact assessments, and delay analysis as required
- Report programme status to project leadership and client-side stakeholders
- Coordinate with package managers and subcontractors to capture accurate progress data
Requirements
- Proven Primavera P6 experience, specifically building programmes from scratch — candidates who have only updated existing schedules will not be considered
- Background in large-scale construction projects; data centre, semiconductor, pharma, or other mission‑critical/industrial experience strongly preferred
- Fluent English (working language of the project — German not required)
- Comfortable with a 3/1 rotation working away from home
- EU passport / right to work in Austria required
- Available at short notice or with a clear availability date
What's On Offer
- Competitive day rate, negotiable based on experience
- Accommodation provided for on‑rotation weeks
- Travel to and from site covered
- Rotational structure giving one full week home per month
- Entry into one of Europe's fastest‑growing data center markets
