ten23 health is seeking a Head of Supply Chain Management to lead end-to-end supply chain strategy and operations. Based in Visp, this role requires German fluency (B2-C1) and full-time onsite work, 5 days a week.

You will optimize procurement, production planning, inventory, and global logistics while ensuring regulatory alignment and quality. A resilient, scalable supply chain is the goal.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in SCM, Logistics, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership in supply chain within regulated manufacturing.
• Deep understanding of cGMP and international trade compliance.
• Experience with temperature-sensitive or specialty logistics networks.
• Proficiency in SAP or Oracle; APICS/Lean Six Sigma preferred.

Your mission

Location: Visp (Onsite, 5 days a week)

As our Head of Supply Chain Management, you will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the end-to-end supply chain. In this role you are responsible for optimizing procurement, production planning, inventory management, and global logistics, ensuring the seamless and compliant delivery of products. You will build a resilient, scalable supply chain that balances cost-efficiency with uncompromising quality and regulatory adherence.

Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to :

Strategic Leadership & S&OP

• Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy that aligns with corporate objectives, production targets, and sustainable growth.
• Lead the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, driving seamless alignment across Commercial, Manufacturing, Quality, and Finance teams.
• Design and implement robust risk mitigation strategies to safeguard against global supply chain disruptions and critical material shortages.

Procurement & Vendor Management

• Oversee strategic sourcing and procurement, negotiating high-value contracts to build sustainable, cost-effective, and reliable supplier relationships.
• Establish strong vendor performance management frameworks, conducting regular audits and business reviews to ensure strict adherence to quality agreements.

Logistics & Inventory Control

• Direct global distribution networks, managing complex requirements including cold chain, temperature-controlled shipments, and specialized freight.
• Optimize inventory levels to minimize carrying costs while effectively preventing stockouts of active ingredients, raw materials, and finished goods.
• Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring absolute accuracy in tracking, material flow, and stringent storage condition compliance.

Compliance & Quality

• Ensure all supply chain activities rigorously adhere to industry regulations (e.g., cGMP, FDA, EMA) and internal quality standards.
• Partner closely with Quality Assurance to resolve deviations, implement CAPAs, and maintain a perpetual state of audit readiness.

Process Optimization & Team Development

• Drive continuous improvement utilizing Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to streamline operations, reduce waste, and improve cycle times.
• Mentor, develop, and lead a high-performing supply chain team, fostering a collaborative, accountable, and empowering workplace culture.
• Champion the integration of advanced technologies (e.g., ERP systems, advanced planning software) to enhance data visibility and forecasting capabilities.

Your profile

We are looking for a motivated and committed professional who is ready to actively grow with us, combining in-depth technical knowledge with a pronounced cooperative spirit.

The ideal candidate possesses:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in supply chain management within a highly regulated manufacturing environment (biopharmaceuticals, life sciences, or similar high-compliance sectors).
• Deep understanding of cGMP regulations and international trade/customs compliance.
• Proven expertise in managing temperature-sensitive or highly specialized logistics networks.
• Advanced proficiency in tier-one ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and supply chain planning software.
• APICS (CPIM/CSCP) or equivalent supply chain certification is highly preferred; Lean Six Sigma certification is a strong advantage.
• Ability to anticipate market shifts and proactively adjust supply chain models.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to drive consensus across Production, Quality, and Commercial divisions.
• Data-driven decision-making style, capable of translating complex supply chain metrics into actionable business intelligence.
• Calm and decisive leadership during supply chain disruptions or critical material shortages.
