Zusammenfassung

Lonza is seeking an Operations Support Specialist for a Large Scale Mammalian facility in Visp. You will be responsible for operational activities within the Operations Support Team, coordinating with Buffer Media Supply, USP, and DSP to ensure smooth production flows.

The role requires English fluency (German advantageous), GMP production experience is a plus, and willingness to work 2–3 shift patterns. Training will start on day shifts as the department is established.

Qualifikationen

• English fluency; German language skills advantageous.
• Chemistry/biopharmaceutical education or vocational training preferred.
• Professional experience in pharmaceutical production as an operator/production technician in a GMP environment is a plus.
• Safety mindset; forklift and/or electric pallet truck training will be required.
• Continuous improvement mindset with attention to detail and support of 6S standards.
• Willingness to work in shifts (2 or 3-shift pattern) with flexible scheduling.
• Day shift during training period and establishment of the Operations Support Department.

• Receipt and management of raw materials, single-use materials, and small/large-scale media and buffers.
• Processing of parts in washers and autoclaves.
• Transport and storage of materials within temperature-controlled requirements.
• Recognition, interpretation, and elimination of deviations.
• Execution of tasks in compliance with safety regulations and cGMP quality requirements.
• Execution of production steps including interaction with HMIs and automated systems.
• Support ongoing training to develop technical skills in a fast-paced, large-scale mammalian facility.

Due to the growth at our site in Visp, we are currently looking for Operations Support andManufacturing Specialists for our 6x20K Large Scale Mammalian Facility. In this role, you willbe responsible forperforming operational activitieswithin the Operations Support Team in partnership with Buffer Media Supply,USPand DSP.

Whatyou’lldo:
