Job summary

Our client, a Swiss-based manufacturer of medical devices, is seeking a freelance Accountant to take over local finance operations after the current post holder leaves. This is a hands-on, on-site role focusing on the operational side of accounting, with the company’s ERP system based on Odoo.

Responsibilities include invoicing, payments, dunning, tax filings, and daily bookkeeping, with handover support from the outgoing post holder.

Qualifications

• Solid, hands on accounting experience in operational finance or bookkeeping.
• Experience with Odoo strongly preferred; capable of learning quickly.
• Fluent in German and English; able to work on-site in Lucerne area.
• Available for a minimum of 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Invoicing and payment processing
• Dunning and collections from clients
• Tax filings and declarations (scope to be confirmed)
• General day to day accounting and bookkeeping tasks
• Support during handover from the outgoing post holder
