Lam Research is seeking an experienced assembly technician to read and follow instructions for proper product assembly in a clean room environment. You will create PRs, collaborate with engineers on new product introductions, and troubleshoot complex mechanical and software issues as needed.

The role requires 2-4 years in a related field, fluent German and English, and proficiency with diagnostic software and MS Office; a valid Austrian work permit is required.

Qualifikationen

• Completed technical education (HTL, Fachschule) in Mechatroncis, Mechanical Engineering or similar; or
• Completed LAP in Electronics, Installation technics or metal work
• 2-4 years of experience in a related field
• Ability to operate on computer interface and navigate diagnostic software; proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
• Fluent in German and English, both written and speaking
• Valid work permit for Austria

Aufgaben

• Effectively read and follow work instructions for proper product assembly
• Create Problem Reports (PRs) and inspection instructions; work closely with engineers to resolve issues related to new product introduction such as manufacturability and form, fit, and function for future builds
• May troubleshoot moderate to highly complex mechanical and software issues within an assembly manufacturing environment
• Perform Risk Management By Walking Around (RMBWA) inspections and document, correct, and/or elevate safety issues/hazards to appropriate individuals/departments
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Willing and able to install components from a working height between 12"-71" and reach into machines to perform tasks
