Tecan Austria GmbH in Austria is seeking a Mechanical Engineer (w/m/d) to contribute to the development of (optical) laboratory devices for medical technology. You will create 3D designs, drawings, and technical documentation, and prepare production documents for prototyping and manufacturing, collaborating with software, electronics, firmware, optics, and motion control.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Solid experience in mechanical design and precision engineering.
• Strong knowledge of 3D CAD, ideally PTC Creo and PTC Windchill.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, measuring techniques, and tolerance analysis.
• Experience with rapid prototyping and 3D printing.
• Hands-on, structured, and solution-oriented working style.
• Experience in medical devices, robotics, or other high-precision products is a plus.

Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act, we are obliged to state the minimum monthly salary of EUR 4,039,55 (classification according to the collective agreement of the electrical and electronics industry based on full-time 38.5 hours/week) as a basis for negotiation. A significant overpayment is envisaged depending on training, qualifications, and experience.
