ANDRITZ is seeking a Material Expert to support its Material Competence Center, with a preferred base at Graz or any ANDRITZ office in Europe. The role focuses on material consultancy, failure analysis, and thermodynamic simulation within a cross-disciplinary team.

You will guide engineering teams, ensure alloy design alignment, and contribute to quality processes while collaborating with global research institutes and R&D managers. Fluency in English and German is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Material Science or Metallurgy.
• Experience in alloy design, microstructure-property relationships and manufacturing processes.
• Experience in thermodynamic simulation.

Aufgaben

• Provide material guidance for engineering, design teams, and managers.
• Conduct material failure analyses and propose mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with national and international material research institutes.
• Support quality engineers with technical rules and non-conformities.
