Jabil is seeking a Master Planner to own the Master Production Schedule for assigned workcells, ensuring perfect alignment between demand, supply, and manufacturing capacity. You will drive on-time delivery, accurate forecasting, and continuous improvement, while mentoring production planners across the site.

You will lead RCCP, S&OP cycle activities, and KPI validation, collaborating with Finance on reporting.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor-level degree in a related field (SC/Logistics/IE).
• Minimum 5+ years in a similar planning role.
• APICS CPIM or similar is a plus.
• Experience with SAP, Kinaxis RapidResponse, and Power BI.

Job Summary

The Master Planner owns the Master Production Schedule (MPS) for the assigned workcell(s) and ensures seamless alignment between customer demand, supply, and manufacturing capacity. The role combines daily operational planning, weekly performance control, and monthly S&OP processes. Acting as the planning subject matter expert, the Master Planner drives 100% on-time delivery, accurate forecasting, and continuous improvement while mentoring Production Planners.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Planning (Daily)

• Conduct daily planning meetings to align production priorities.

• Review and validate Work Orders (WO) for completeness and accuracy.

• Monitor and update MPS trackers; secure build readiness (valid PO, BOM, routing, materials).

• Prepare and consolidate inputs for CAC (MPSA, revenue, backlog).

• Ensure quick resolution of issues impacting production schedules.

Performance Management (Weekly)

• Analyze MPS performance, schedule attainment, and aged inventory.

• Lead weekly MPS Alignment meetings and communicate outcomes to management.

• Conduct intercompany analysis and PO reviews to avoid supply disruptions.

• Prepare and host customer meetings and action follow-ups.

• Track inventory violations, conduct root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions with Supply Chain.

Strategic & S&OP Cycle (Monthly)

• Execute Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) in RapidResponse and communicate constraints.

• Lead monthly Demand Handover and Site Alignment meetings.

• Support S&OP cycle preparation: slide creation, KPI validation, MPS validation.

• Represent the workcell in internal S&OP reviews and customer S&OP sessions.

• Align with Finance on CWA creation, reporting, and submission.

• Ensure MPS is loaded and validated in SAP with full accuracy.

• Conduct monthly bridge analysis and reviews to track demand-supply gaps.

Leadership & Continuous Improvement

• Act as the subject matter expert for all planning activities in the workcell.

• Mentor and coach production planners, ensuring robust planning standards.

• Drive process improvements in planning accuracy, reporting, and system usage (SAP, RapidResponse, Power BI).

• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

WHAT YOU BRING:

• Education: Degree in Supply Chain Operations, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Min of 5+ years of experience in a similiar role
• Certifications: APICS CPIM or similar planning-related qualifications are an advantage.
• Systems Knowledge: Experience with SAP, Kinaxis RapidResponse, and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Competencies: Strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and a proactive working style.
