We are a well-established and fast-paced Italian restaurant - Paninni's located in the heart of Mount Gravatt, and we are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Manager to lead our front-of-house team.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong hospitality background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to deliver an outstanding guest experience every time. As we are a venue known for quality food and an impressive wine selection, strong wine knowledge is mandatory for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all daily front-of-house operations
  • Lead, train, and motivate staff to maintain high service standards
  • Manage bookings, floor plans, and service flow during busy periods
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and handle guest inquiries professionally
  • Work closely with the kitchen and owners to maintain smooth operations
  • Manage stock control, ordering, and supplier communication
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming dining environment
  • Represent the restaurant's brand, culture, and values at all times
Requirements
  • Minimum 2–3 years' experience in a similar managerial or supervisory role
  • Strong and confident wine knowledge is essential
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a busy, high-pressure environment
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Must be available Wednesday to Sunday (5-day work week)
  • Passion for Italian cuisine and warm, memorable hospitality
  • Valid Australian work visa or work rights are required for this position
