About this Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Executive General Manager, Contracts, Performance & Business Development as the Manager, Business Development & Contracts, you will be motivated to identify and engage new business opportunities and grants, wholistically expanding RFDS SA/NT’s market presence. You will ensure all tenders, bids and contracts strengthen the RFDS mission and provide strategic oversight of business opportunities. You will lead a team of contract managers to ensure compliance, value and sustainable partnerships are maintained with government, health authorities and corporate clients.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, motivate and guide the Contract Manager team
  • Analyse, develop, manage and report on business development activities
  • Manage tenders and customer contracts
  • Financial and risk management
About You
  • High levels of business acumen, business analysis and financial management experience
  • Experience in contract management, governance, tender and bid development
  • Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder management and project management
  • Creative, innovative thinking, with strong lateral and strategic thinking skills
  • Interpersonal qualities such as patience, respect for individual needs, and adaptability
Qualifications
  • Tertiary Qualifications in commerce, business or related fields (essential)
  • A background in aviation and or health related services (desirable)
