Job summary
CoolPeople Technology in Vienna is looking for a Mainframe Software Developer to contribute to the ongoing development and modernization of established banking applications on the mainframe. You will work across the full software development lifecycle, collaborating with distributed teams and gaining exposure to newer technologies.
Requirements include hands-on mainframe development with Cobol/DB2, ADABAS/Natural, SQL, and German and English at C1 level.

- Hands-on mainframe development experience.
- Cobol/DB2, ADABAS/Natural and SQL proficiency.
- German and English at C1 level.
Responsibilities
- Ongoing development and modernization of established mainframe applications in banking.
- Development of secure and fault-tolerant software.
- Work across the full software development lifecycle from planning to maintenance and operations.
