LSU Vet Med in Baton Rouge is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist to support the Equine & Farm Animal Clinic. You will manage front-desk duties, scheduling, client communication, and billing, ensuring smooth daily operations and exceptional client service.

The ideal candidate has a degree in veterinary technology or equivalent experience, strong organizational skills, and a customer-focused approach. This hourly professional role supports a fast-paced clinical team and a busy campus hospital.

Formación

• Minimum degree or equivalent experience in veterinary field.
• Experience in front-desk reception and client communication preferred.
• Able to handle billing, scheduling, and record-keeping tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain clear communication with clinicians, staff, and clients to ensure smooth workflow.
• Schedule surgical and medical appointments and gather patient histories.
• Handle billing, deposits, and collections and verify documents.
• Assist with electronic treatment sheets and daily reception tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
