Zusammenfassung

Lam Research Salzburg GmbH in Salzburg, Austria is seeking a Laboratory Service Engineer to maintain and upgrade our state‑of‑the‑art lab equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and support for prototype tools in an R&D environment.

You will work with cross‑functional teams and apply hands‑on skills in electrical, mechanical, and vacuum systems, with the possibility of hybrid on‑site and remote work.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field; 5+ years of experience or equivalent military training with 7+ years
• Experience troubleshooting electrical, electro‑mechanical, fluidic, and vacuum systems
• Proficient use of hand tools and electronic test equipment; cleanroom capable

Aufgaben

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and calibrations on equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electromechanical, electronic, and vacuum systems
• Ensure safe handling of hazardous materials with PPE
• Collaborate with process development, hardware, and software engineering on R&D activities
• Install and support prototype equipment, developing procedures and documentation
• Maintain priorities with clear, proactive communication
