Accountabilities
  • Manage strategic accounts to optimize the performance of the Hematology portfolio.
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities to expand market reach and impact.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and medical institutions to support business growth.
  • Develop tailored business strategies designed to achieve ambitious sales and portfolio objectives.
  • Represent AstraZeneca's values and standards consistently in all professional interactions with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Proactively pursue new commercial and strategic opportunities to maximize portfolio success.
  • Collaborate across functions—including marketing, sales, and medical teams—to deliver integrated excellence.
  • Conduct scientific discussions and provide educational presentations to inform and engage stakeholders.
  • Mentor and support colleagues, sharing expertise and promoting best practices within the team.
Experience / Skills
  • Completed pharmaceutical representative exam, either completed pharmaceutical representative exam or Scientific degree (MSc equivalent) in medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, or veterinary medicine.
  • Fluent German and English language skills (spoken and written) and B category driving license.
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and Austrian healthcare system, with significant hospital market experience desired.
  • Experience in sales, negotiation, and key account management desired.
  • Excellent planning, management, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Proficient with CRM systems, MS Office, and analytical tools.
  • High performance drive, initiative, and self‑motivation.
  • Team‑oriented mindset with customer focus and results‑driven approach.
  • Selling, negotiation, and strategic problem‑solving capabilities.
  • Flexible, resilient, confident, and open to continuous development and change.
  • Careful attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure.
