Job summary

Binderholz Deutschland GmbH is seeking a structural engineer to support the design and analysis of timber construction projects, including timber and hybrid structures, across national and international scope. You will design timber connections and construction details focused on performance, manufacturability, and ease of installation.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of timber structures and structural mechanics.
• Willingness to move to Hallein, Austria for the first 2 years.
• Ability to design timber connections and construction details.

Responsibilities

• Support the structural design and analysis of national and international timber construction projects.
• Develop practical and efficient structural solutions for timber and hybrid structures.
• Design timber connections and construction details with a focus on performance, manufacturability and ease of installation.
• Prepare structural drawings including general arrangement, position and construction plans.
• Collaborate closely with project engineers, architects, production teams and external consultants throughout all project phases.
