Job summary

Catalyst Operations & Analytics is seeking a Junior Software Developer to contribute to front-end and back-end components within an Agile development team, implementing user stories, writing and unit testing code, and supporting integration with existing systems.

The role emphasizes building foundational full-stack development skills and delivering reliable, well-tested software for a larger application while collaborating closely with teammates and more experienced developers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 0-2 years of relevant professional software development experience.
US Citizenship and TS/SCI with Polygraph (no exceptions).
Working knowledge of one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Python).
Exposure to front-end and/or back-end web application development.
Familiarity with RESTful API concepts.
Exposure to Agile/Scrum development teams and ceremonies, through coursework, internships, or professional experience.
Familiarity with version control tools.
Comfort developing on Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across a development team.

Responsibilities
