The ideal candidate has a passion for sports, strong language skills in German and English, proficiency with Word/Excel, and at least 1 year of similar experience.

Aufgaben

• Conduct KYC (Know Your Customer) checks and advise internal departments on KYC and AML requirements.
• Assist Compliance Team with implementing and monitoring responsible gambling measures in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Handle inquiries from authorities, including Policía Nacional, GGL, DGOJ, and FIU.
• Support preparation and submission of suspicious activity reports and monitor payouts.
• Expand, optimize, and monitor internal AML and KYC processes.
• Prepare and maintain compliance reports, audit documentation, and regulatory filings.
• Handle identity theft cases and fraud reports.
• Coordinate and submit SIGMA sports integrity reports.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as required.

We are currently seeking a Junior Compliance Officer (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible in our Vienna office.

Objectives of the Position

• Ensuring compliance with all AML and compliance obligations in accordance with national and international regulations.
• Supporting all activities related to the prevention of money laundering.
• Optimizing and expanding internal processes in the areas of Compliance, in particular related to AML and RG.

Main Responsibilities include:

• Conducting KYC (Know Your Customer) checks and advising internal departments on KYC and AML requirements [example: service team].
• Assisting the Compliance Team with implementing and monitoring responsible gambling measures in accordance with the applicable regulatory requirements
• Handling inquiries and requests for information from authorities, including the Policía Nacional, GGL, DGOJ, and FIU.
• Supporting the preparation and submission of suspicious activity reports to the relevant authorities, as well as monitoring payouts.
• Expanding, optimizing, and monitoring internal AML and KYC processes.
• Preparing and maintaining compliance reports, audit documentation, and regulatory filings.
• Handling identity theft cases and fraud reports.
• Coordinating and submitting SIGMA sports integrity reports.
• Other ad hoc responsibilities as may be required.

Professional Experience / Technical Qualifications

• Strong interest in sports.
• Good command of German and English, both written and spoken – Other languages are considered an asset.
• Computer skills, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role.

Competitive gross annual salary starting at EUR 35.158,--, with a willingness to pay above market rate, depending on qualifications and relevant professional experience.
