IT Security All-Rounder (Focus: DLP & Cyber Incident Response) (m/f/d)

The IT Security All-Rounder is responsible for the holistic security posture of the organization, translating regulatory and policy requirements into effective technical security controls. This role requires an individual who can operate across the security lifecycle—from strategic architectural design and policy development down to hands‑on deployment and incident handling. An add on function of this role is to design, implement, and optimize the DLP security incident response and contribute significantly to the SecOps function, particularly in refining and executing the Cyber Incident Response Plan (CIRP), focusing on data exfiltration scenarios.

What to expect:

Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC)

  • Develop and maintain IT security policies and standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, DORA)
  • Translate regulatory requirements into actionable technical controls

Technical Security & Implementation

  • Define and integrate a cohesive IT security architecture
  • Deploy and operate key security tools (e.g., SIEM, EDR/XDR, Firewalls, PAM, WAF)
  • Strengthen systems and infrastructure through secure configuration

Security Operations & Incident Response

  • Lead and support cyber incident investigations and simulations
  • Enhance threat detection and response through collaboration with the SOC
  • Drive continuous improvement in monitoring and threat prevention
  • Role as Security Officer on Call
What we expect:
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in CS, InfoSec, or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years in IT Security (governance & technical)
  • Experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP), incident response, and deploying multi-domain security solutions (Endpoint, Network, Cloud)
  • Experience in IT Security architecture, Network/Endpoint/Cloud/IAM/Web Security
  • Scripting/automation (Python, PowerShell) is a plus
  • Confident communicator, creative problem-solver, aligns security with business needs
