IOM Austria invites applications for an internship in the Labour Mobility & Integration Unit, based in Vienna. The intern will support integration and counter-trafficking activities, contribute to training materials, and assist in drafting communications with a focus on English and German language contexts.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor level degree in Political Science, International Relations, Migration Studies, Law, Social Science or related fields.
• Affinity for IT and competent handling of virtual events is an asset.
• Comprehensive knowledge of migration and asylum governance in Austria/EU; experience with an international organization is an asset.
• Strong social and intercultural skills; excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

Aufgaben

• Assisting IOM Austria to implement project activities regarding integration and counter trafficking.
• Provision of administrative and organizational support in compiling training content and materials.
• Assisting in drafting and editing newsletters, brochures, and narrative reports; translation and proofreading (English/German).
• Attending meetings and conferences; taking minutes; organizing events and travel; assisting in research activities.
• Conducting (virtual) training sessions and performing other duties as assigned.
