Erste Group Bank AG in Vienna offers an exciting internship in Group Markets (GM) Business Development for 12 months part-time (19.25h/week) or 6 months full-time (38.5h/week) starting January 2027. You will contribute to data analytics, create reports, and support data-driven business insights in a dynamic capital markets environment.

Candidates are pursuing Banking/Finance with strong SQL/database skills, analytical mindset, and English fluency; German is a plus.

The team Group Markets (GM) Business Development is located within the Group Markets & Corporate business resort and is supporting the divisionalized Group Markets business in the development and deployment of the business strategy, reporting and monitoring, special business analysis (data analytics), planning/forecasting etc.

Your Tasks

• Contribute to the development of data/business analysis in the capital markets area

Your Background

• Ongoing studies at University/University of Applied Sciences with a background in Banking and/or Finance & Data Analytics
• Excellent knowledge on (MS) SQL and database structure
• High analytical skills
• Open minded, innovative and out of the box thinking
• Hands on approach & highly motivated to support change
• Fluent in English, German is a plus
