Erste Group Bank AG in Vienna offers an exciting 12‑month part‑time internship (19.25h/week) or 6 months full-time (38.5h/week) starting January 2027. You will contribute to data analysis and reporting in Group Markets Business Development, supporting business insight generation.

We seek students with a background in Banking/Finance and Data Analytics who are fluent in English; German is a plus. A hands‑on, analytical mindset and openness to change thrive in our international, hybrid work

Qualifikationen

• Excellent knowledge of MS SQL and database structure.

Aufgaben

• Contribute to the development of data/business analysis in the capital markets area.
• Create and improve reports and analyses for stakeholders to identify drivers and insights with our data analytics team.
• Support in the further development of the underlying DWH-based database and cube reporting.
• Assist in optimization and implementation of state-of-the-art processes.

The team Group Markets (GM) Business Development is located within the Group Markets & Corporate business resort and is supporting the divisionalized Group Markets business in the development and deployment of the business strategy, reporting and monitoring, special business analysis (data analytics), planning/forecasting etc.

Your Tasks

• Contribute to the development of data/business analysis in the capital markets area
• Create and improve reports and analysis for business stakeholders to identify business drivers and key insights in strong cooperation with our data analytics team
• Support in further development of the underlying database (DWH based) and cube based reporting
• Support in optimization and implementation of state-of-the-art processes

Your Background

• Ongoing studies at University/University of Applied Sciences with a background in Banking and/or Finance & Data Analytics
• Excellent knowledge on (MS) SQL and database structure
• High analytical skills
• Open minded, innovative and out of the box thinking
• Hands on approach & highly motivated to support change
• Fluent in English, German is a plus
