Infineon Technologies Austria is offering a temporary/part-time internship for students in computer science, electrical, or electronics engineering. You will work on a Raspberry Pi-based multi-node data collection system, integrate sensors, and develop GUI and visualization tools under ROS.

Strong coding skills in C/C++ and Python are required, with Linux and embedded systems experience preferred. Fluent English is expected; German is a plus.

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Infrastructure: Maintain and improve a Raspberry Pi based multi node system for data collection in our application lab
• Sensor Integration: Add new sensors and support the integration of existing ones into the system

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

• Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or a related field
• Programming: Strong skills in C/C++ and Python or similar languages, with the ability to write clean, functional code independently
• Systems: Familiarity with Linux environments, experience with Raspberry Pi or embedded systems is a strong plus
• ROS: Experience or exposure to Robot Operating System (ROS) is highly desirable
• Visualization: Experience with data visualization tools or graphical user interface (GUI) development is a plus
• Work Style: Detail oriented and self driven, able to work independently and within a team
• Language Skills: Fluent English, German is an advantage
