Zusammenfassung

Anton Paar seeks a skilled plastics design engineer to independently develop concept and detailed designs for plastic parts and components. You will collaborate with Product Management and Industrial Design, coordinating with suppliers to ensure technically feasible, manufacturable solutions.

You will conduct feasibility studies, translate design requirements, and contribute to the realization of innovative plastic parts within a global high-tech environment.

Qualifikationen

• Experience selecting suitable plastic materials and understanding their properties.
• Experience with manufacturing processes for plastic components, especially injection molding and structural foam molding.
• Experience with CAD design; SolidWorks and/or Creo is an advantage.
• Experience with rapid prototyping and small-batch production of plastic components.

Aufgaben

• Design plastic components and injection-molded parts with a strong focus on manufacturability.
• Collaborate closely with Industrial Design and translate design requirements into technically feasible solutions.
• Conduct feasibility studies and assessments.
• Handle technical clarification and coordination with suppliers.
