Zusammenfassung

ams OSRAM is looking for a Head of Industrial Engineering to bridge strategy and execution in a semiconductor setting. You will translate business objectives into capacity plans, investments and performance improvements while expanding the function’s scope and strategic impact.

You will lead capacity modeling, CapEx evaluation and cross-functional initiatives, ensuring robust data foundations and stakeholder alignment across engineering, operations, and finance.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations, Semiconductor Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or high-tech production environments.
• Strong background in capacity planning, data analysis and simulation and CapEx / business case development.
• Experience leading cross-functional and strategic initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management across technical and business functions.
• Analytical mindset with ability to translate complexity into clear insights.
• Proactive, structured and results-driven working style.
• Proficiency in English; German is a strong advantage.

Aufgaben

• Lead and further develop Industrial Engineering as a key driver of efficiency and predictability.
• Translate strategic targets into actionable capacity, cost and investment frameworks.
• Develop capacity models and simulation tools for mid- and long-term planning.
• Lead CapEx planning and evaluation including structured business case development.
• Provide fact-based input for investment decision processes.
• Define optimized production layouts aligned with technology roadmap and growth.
• Lead cross-functional projects across operations, engineering, supply chain and finance.
• Establish and maintain data foundations and KPIs for capacity, capex and performance.
