Jobbeschreibung

At Enery, we’re powering the future…literally.

We are an independent renewable energy provider dedicated to delivering reliable, affordable, and long-term green energy to our customers. We have scaled rapidly to over 1.1 GW of operating capacity, with a development pipeline of close to 10 GW across around 10 CEE countries — alongside a leading position in revenue optimization for utility-scale renewable and storage assets. Present in 10 countries across Central and Eastern Europe, we reflect our commitment to making a meaningful climate impact across the region.

But we’re more than just energy and infrastructure. With a diverse, multidisciplinary team representing over 30 nationalities, we value transparency, ownership, and continuous learning. We move fast, collaborate across disciplines, and celebrate wins, big and small, together.

At Enery, ESG isn’t a checkbox. It’s embedded into every decision we make, from project development and construction to long-term operations.

As a (Senior) Consolidation and Financial Reporting Specialist, you will be a key contributor to Enery's global financial close process. Reporting directly to the Head of Consolidation and IFRS Reporting, you will run the end-to-end consolidation process across 150+ entities, provide technical accounting expertise, and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal control standards.

You will work closely with colleagues across Accounting, Controlling FP&A, IT, ESG, and senior leadership — with real ownership over how we approach group consolidation, room to push automation forward, and a genuine hand in shaping the company's financial reporting. This role is planned for fulltime but we're open for a potential 0.8 FTE applications as well.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the leadership of quarterly and annual consolidation procedures during period-end close, including ERP/consolidation system interfaces, currency translation, and equity/investment and intercompany eliminations across 150+ entities.
  • Prepare consolidation journal entries with robust supporting documentation.
  • Develop and enhance consolidated financial reports and analytical deliverables for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the preparation of Group and multiple Subgroups audit-ready report packages, including IFRS quantitative and narrative disclosures, memos, and other documentation materials.
  • Contribute to data maintenance, including general ledger presentation across accounts, profit centers, hierarchies, segments, and regions to ensure global consistency and data integrity.
  • Support responses to new IFRS requirements and auditor requests.
  • Support the calculation of EU Taxonomy KPIs and contribute to annual ESG audits preparation.
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; additional certification is a plus.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with a strong foundation in consolidation accounting and financial reporting; Big 4 experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Consolidation CCH Tagetik (Consolidation, Repository Management, IFRS 16, Intelligent Disclosure modules, Reports Design) is highly desirable.
  • Experience with ERP systems and data analytics, ideally NetSuite (Oracle), is desirable.
  • Excellent written and spoken English; German is a plus.
  • Hands‑on, solution‑oriented mindset, with the ability to manage competing priorities and consistently meet deadlines without compromising accuracy. Structured working style with enough flexibility to adapt in a fast‑growing environment.
  • Enthusiasm for technology and automation, and comfort using AI tools.

If you’re excited about this role but don’t meet every requirement, we encourage you to apply anyway. We value growth, curiosity, and diverse perspectives.

At Enery, we are committed to attracting top talent and fostering an environment where employees can excel. Here is what we offer:

  • Join a Growing Company: Be part of an exciting journey with a young and dynamic growth company. A collaborative team culture with direct access to senior finance leadership and external auditors.

  • Collaborative and Inspiring Team: Join our international team, where you will be surrounded by inspiring colleagues who believe in collaboration and mutual support. Together, we create an environment that fosters innovation and personal growth.
  • Purpose‑Driven Company: Our company is driven by a strong sense of purpose. By joining us, you will have the chance to be part of something meaningful, making a positive impact on society, our planet, and people’s lives through your work.
  • Opportunity to growth within the organization and take over additional responsibilities in the future
  • Be part of a young, dynamic growth company
  • Dynamic learning program including external trainings and conferences and active key‑user involvement in automation projects.
  • A hybrid working model based in Vienna (1030), with flexibility around the period‑end close calendar
