Zusammenfassung

HOERBIGER in Austria (Vienna) seeks a Hydrogen Mechanical Engineer (m/f/d) to design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, skids, and supports for the HCP500 platform, aligning process engineering with operations and commissioning.

You will prepare fabrication drawings, BOMs, installation plans, and documentation; optimize plant layouts; interpret P&IDs; and collaborate across Engineering, PM, Procurement, Operations, Commissioning, and Service to deliver robust hydrogen compressor

Qualifikationen

• For Mechanical Engineering, HTL/FH/University degree or equivalent.
• Minimum five years of experience in mechanical design and industrial plant engineering.
• Proficient with Autodesk Inventor; experience with Vault is a plus.
• Strong ability to develop plant layouts, steel structures, assemblies, and fabrication drawings.
• Ability to read and implement P&IDs; hydrogen plants or similar experience is an advantage.
• Independent, solution-oriented work style; fluent written and spoken English.

Aufgaben

• Design mechanical systems and create detailed 3D models for HCP500 using Autodesk Inventor.
• Develop plant structures, skids, and ventilation and support systems considering production feasibility.
• Create fabrication drawings, BOMs, installation plans, and manufacturing documentation.
• Perform clash detection and optimize layouts for accessibility and maintainability.
• Translate process requirements into mechanical designs by interpreting P&IDs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, PM, Procurement, Operations, Commissioning, and Service.
