Jobbeschreibung

Want to lead and grow strategic media partnerships to boost audience and brand exposure? Then this is for you! Join our Global Media Partnerships Team in Salzburg, Austria, and lead and grow strategic relationships with key media partners in the assigned territory.

All the responsibilities we’ll trust you with:
Partnership Management & Country Collaboration

As the primary liaison for local markets and regional media leads, you’ll lead the development and execution of media partnerships, including co‑development deals, content licensing, co‑marketing, and co‑productions. You’ll facilitate two‑way communication between markets and HQ by addressing local needs, identifying obstacles, and sharing innovative approaches. This includes reviewing and assessing partnership proposals using a standardized global framework and ensuring the effective distribution of content catalogues, live events, and priority materials through internal platforms. Additionally, you will foster collaboration through case study development, country kick‑off meetings, and one‑on‑one calls with Media Network Managers. Managing and mentoring the Media Partnership Manager – Regional will be a key part of your responsibilities, ensuring timely and successful execution of initiatives.

Partnership Optimization & Negotiations

You’ll enable local activation of key account campaigns by equipping markets with toolkits, creative assets, and playbooks. Your role will involve tracking campaign rollouts, consolidating insights, and conducting regular business reviews to assess partner performance and identify areas for growth. Leading or supporting partner negotiations, you’ll secure favorable terms for renewals, expansions, and optimizations, while ensuring compliance with partner agreements in collaboration with local teams. Additionally, you’ll work with creative and production teams to deliver localized content, marketing materials, and key campaigns tailored to meet market‑specific needs.

Partnership Activation & Operations

You’ll assist in implementing co‑marketing opportunities such as watch parties, shared viewing strategies, and local B2B initiatives. Supporting partner onboarding and training, you’ll ensure alignment with HQ processes and systems while providing ongoing training for regional teams. Facilitating workshops and hosting meetings with media partners and clients will be key to driving engagement and collaboration. Your presence at events will also help unlock new partnership opportunities and reinforce existing relationships.

Strategic Alignment

Translating HQ brand, content, and commercial strategies into market‑specific partnership plans, you will ensure local activities align with global KPIs and support audience growth and monetization goals. You’ll provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership at both market and global levels based on performance data, market trends, and competitor analysis. Acting as the first point of contact in the business planning process, you will coordinate closely with content, marketing, rights management, and legal teams to resolve conflicts, ensure compliance, and implement market‑specific initiatives effectively.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

You’ll monitor partner deliverables, track campaign performance, and evaluate ROI using advanced analytics tools to uncover opportunities for increased engagement and monetization. Regularly presenting performance updates to HQ stakeholders, you’ll share best practices and actionable insights to drive continuous improvement. Additionally, you’ll identify successful initiatives from one market to be adopted across others, creating a culture of shared learning and collaboration.

Market Development & Intelligence

Focusing on identifying growth opportunities, you’ll help expand the network’s footprint by attending industry events, trade shows, and partner activations, representing the organization and building new relationships. Drawing on an understanding of media companies and their challenges, you’ll offer tailored solutions to partners and local teams to strengthen collaboration. By gathering market data and staying informed about regulatory changes, you’ll provide valuable insights to inform strategies and ensure compliance in the countries under your management.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
  • 7+ years of managerial experience in partnership management, media distribution, business development or a similar role, preferably in the media industry
  • Experience working in international HQs with regional/local market teams, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and strong interpersonal skills in diverse, global environments.
  • Deep understanding of digital content distribution, digital platforms, or sports/media rights management, with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Proven capability to analyze data, identify opportunities, and provide strategic solutions in high‑pressure and fast‑paced environments.
  • Team‑player mentality with exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, combined with a collaborative, team‑oriented mindset and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
  • Willingness to travel internationally, operate with enthusiasm and energy, and manage operationally demanding tasks with a high degree of flexibility and independence.

Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is € 2,446 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market‑oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.

As an employer, we value diversity and support people in developing their potential and strengths, realizing their ideas and seizing opportunities. We believe passionately that employing a diverse workforce is central to our success. We welcome applications from all members of society irrespective of age, skin colour, religion, gender, sexual orientation or origin.
