Job summary

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• Experience in Operations Controlling, ideally in manufacturing.
• Strong leadership with ability to develop and inspire teams.
• Expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance management.
• AdvancedSAP FI/CO, BW and BPC knowledge.
• Analytical mindset translating data into insights for decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Head of Controlling

In your role, you will drive effective cross-functional collaboration and provide reliable financial leadership by overseeing reporting, forecasting, compliance, strategic planning, cost initiatives, government grant processes, and lead the Controlling Team.

Lead and develop the Controlling Team, fostering a positive culture and high-performance mindset

Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to enable informed business decisions

Partner closely with Operations, Sales, Purchasing, and other business functions to support business objectives

Identify opportunities to improve profitability, optimize costs, and enhance overall business performance

Provide meaningful financial insights and recommendations to support management decision-making

Support strategic projects through business case evaluations, ROI simulations, and investment analyses

• Oversee OPEX and CAPEX performance while promoting continuous improvement across controlling activities

Your Profile

Relevant degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

Experience in Operations Controlling, ideally within a manufacturing environment

Solid leadership experience with the ability to develop, motivate, and inspire teams

Strong expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management

Advanced SAP (FI/CO, BW, BPC) knowledge

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate financial data into business insights and recommendations

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Business-oriented approach with a strong understanding of operational processes

• Strong ownership mentality with a proactive and results-driven approach

Fluent in German and English
