Mondi plc in Austria seeks an experienced data analyst to support group-wide operational excellence by delivering reliable data analyses, reporting solutions and performance management across Mondi’s global production network.

You will develop data models, KPI dashboards and standard reports, support monthly closing and budgeting, ensure data quality and enable fact-based decisions. You will collaborate with mills and central functions while traveling up to 40%.

Qualifikationen

Purpose of the role

Support group-wide operational excellence by providing reliable operational data analysis, reporting solutions and process support. Enable fact-based performance management, improve data quality and contribute to continuous improvement across Mondi’s global production network. Focus of the activities will be operational data analytics, reporting process support, performance management and continuous improvement analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Operational Excellence projects and work streams with structured data analysis, reporting and preparation of management insights.
• Prepare operational analyses across production, productivity, maintenance, energy and other relevant performance areas.
• Develop and maintain data models, process flows, standard reports, KPI overviews and dashboards to support group, business segment, BU and mill-level performance management.
• Support operational reporting processes, including data quality follow-up, monthly closing activities, budgeting support and reporting consistency.
• Support the administration and further development of operational reporting systems and processes, including standard templates, data checks, documentation and reduction of double reporting.
• Collaborate with mills, key-users and central functions to support communication, training, knowledge sharing and issue resolution.

Candidate Profile

• University degree in technical, economics, (data analytics, business analytics) or related discipline.
• Minimum 2+ years of professional experience in data analytics, reporting, operations, controlling, consulting or related fields.
• Manufacturing industry background
• System operations management experience
• Experience with operational reporting, dashboards , data quality management and performance management.
• Experience with Excel-based analysis, data models and reporting tools; knowledge of Power BI / SAP SAC / similar tools is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel about 40%

• Affinity for production, manufacturing, operational excellence and continuous improvement topics.
• Process-oriented thinking, critical thinking, structured working style and good communication skills.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are considered a plus.
