Your new adventure

As Academy Group Leader, you will drive the strategic development of global learning, process excellence and knowledge transfer within Global Sourcing. In this key role, you will ensure consistent capability levels, optimise procurement processes, and foster a culture of continuous improvement across all regions.

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and drive innovation, automation, and process optimisation in Global Sourcing.
  • Define, maintain, and enhance global procurement process standards, documentation, and compliance readiness.
  • Analyse process bottlenecks and identify digitisation opportunities in alignment with system landscapes.
  • Act as a senior advisor for sourcing processes, supporting leadership with expert guidance in decision‑making.
  • Develop and manage global procurement training programmes, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
  • Lead global train‑the‑trainer initiatives and secure consistent onboarding frameworks for new employees.
  • Facilitate cross‑functional workshops, promote best‑practice sharing, and strengthen global knowledge transfer.
  • Support skills‑gap analysis and define training needs across procurement functions.
Your Skills And Experiences
  • University degree and 5+ years of professional experience, ideally in global sourcing or procurement.
  • Deep understanding of procurement processes; experience in process development or continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work across global, cross‑functional teams.
  • Experience with digital training content, training platforms, and learning structures.
  • Self‑driven, structured, and confident in leading workshops, programmes, and global initiatives independently.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for on‑site training sessions.
  • Fluent English and German (written and spoken).

The minimum salary for this position is EUR 60.962,3 gross/year in accordance with the collective agreement for the metal industry. Depending on your qualifications and professional experience, we offer an attractive and performance‑related salary with corresponding overpayment.
