IT:U, a new technical university in Linz, seeks a Controlling and Grant Manager to oversee third‑party funded projects and post‑award activities. You will guide project leads on financial matters and ensure reports meet funder rules and regulations.

Requirements include a university degree in finance or related field (Master’s preferred) and at least 3 years in project controlling, audits, or financial management. English and German at C1, with hybrid work options and campus facilities.

Qualificações

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Financial Controlling or related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in project controlling, research administration, auditing, or financial management.
• Experience with public grants (e.g., Horizon Europe, FFG, FWF) and applying funding eligibility rules.

Responsabilidades

• Handle project controlling and administrative management of third‑party funded projects.
• Provide guidance to scientific project leads on financial and administrative matters.
• Prepare compliant financial reports according to funder rules and national regulations.
• Coordinate audits and maintain audit‑ready documentation; drive follow‑ups for improvements.
• Design and refine post‑award processes and internal controls for third‑party funds.
• Develop and maintain reporting tools to enhance data quality and KPIs.
• Serve as post‑award contact for funding agencies and partners; collaborate on budgeting and compliance.
