Zusammenfassung

Greiner is seeking an OT Technician to secure, maintain and optimize OT systems across multiple production sites in Austria. You will work with IT, automation and security teams to ensure continuous, secure operations and support site deployments globally.

The role requires Linux exposure, strong networking skills, and the ability to collaborate across functions. Travel to international sites will be part of the responsibilities, and you will contribute to cybersecurity and standardization

Qualifikationen

• Background in IT/OT environments and manufacturing systems.
• Experience with Linux or willingness to develop Linux skills.
• Strong networking knowledge: IP addressing, routing, firewall configuration, iptables.

Aufgaben

• Ensure the secure, stable, and efficient operation of OT systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Analyze and resolve technical issues affecting OT systems, production networks, and machine-related IT systems.
• Perform system maintenance, updates, and patch management with accurate documentation.
• Support international OT and MES initiatives across locations.
• Contribute to OT standards, policies, and cybersecurity improvements.
• Collaborate with production teams, IT, machine suppliers and internal experts.
• Support OT asset lifecycle management and vulnerability assessments.
• Identify opportunities for innovation to improve security, reliability and performance.
