Job summary

TGW Logistics is seeking an experienced Application Engineer to drive the technical development of intralogistics projects for global customers. You’ll move from concept to quotation, calculating throughput and selecting mechatronics systems, while providing technical counsel to the sales team.

Qualifications

• Requires HTL or university/technical college education with a focus on automation, mechatronics or mechanical engineering.
• Strong German and English skills.
• Experience using CAD systems (2D and 3D).
• Accurate, independent and systematic working style.
• Customer focus and strong communication skills.
• High degree of teamwork, willingness to learn and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Technical development of intralogistics projects in direct business.
• Creation of concept, enquiry and quotation layouts.
• Calculation of throughput capacities and technical product selection.
• Calculation of mechatronic systems.
• Technical consultation for the sales team and active participation in quotation design.
• Contact person for technical queries from internal and external partners.
