We're looking for a Global Business Director who combines exceptional leadership with operational excellence to lead one of our most ambitious global client partnerships. You're an experienced business leader with 10–15+ years of experience in a global creative agency, capable of leading large multidisciplinary teams, building lasting client relationships, and setting the benchmark for quality, collaboration, and performance.

Based in Salzburg, Austria, this role is ideal for someone ready to make a meaningful impact within an international environment. We're looking for candidates who are willing to relocate to Salzburg, and LOOP® provides comprehensive relocation assistance to support a smooth transition. You'll oversee complex global engagements, elevate both client partnerships and internal operations, and create an environment where people, processes, and creativity thrive together while helping shape the brand.

Requirements and Responsibilities

• Lead with Vision. Inspire, mentor, and develop large multidisciplinary teams, creating a high-performance culture built on trust, accountability, collaboration, and continuous growth.
• Build Executive Partnerships. Act as the senior strategic advisor to global clients, building trusted long-term relationships, navigating senior stakeholders, and identifying opportunities to strengthen partnerships and drive growth.
• Own Commercial Performance. Take full ownership of the account’s commercial health, including revenue, profitability, forecasting, scope, pricing, and resource investment. Identify opportunities to grow the partnership and deliver sustainable business results.
• Drive Operational Excellence. Oversee multiple workstreams, teams, and priorities, ensuring strong planning, resource management, processes, and communication across complex global engagements.
• Champion Creative Excellence. Use your experience in the creative industry to challenge teams, raise the quality of the work, and ensure creative output meets the highest standards and delivers meaningful impact.
• Navigate Complexity. Balance client expectations, commercial goals, creative ambition, and team needs, while making clear decisions and keeping people aligned and projects moving forward.
• Lead with Influence. Represent LOOP® with confidence at senior client and internal leadership level, bringing strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills to every interaction.
• Shape What’s Next. Work closely with strategy, creative, production, technology, and operations leadership to strengthen capabilities, unlock new opportunities, and help take LOOP® and its client partnerships to the next level.
• Global Leadership. 15+ years of experience in a global creative, digital, or advertising agency, with a proven track record leading major international accounts and large multidisciplinary teams.
• Commercial Mindset. Strong experience owning account performance, including revenue, profitability, forecasting, scope, and growth, with a proven ability to identify opportunities and turn them into results.
• Client & Creative Leadership. Confident working with senior clients and leading teams through complex challenges. You understand the creative industry, know what great work looks like, and have the experience to raise the bar across both client relationships and delivery.

At LOOP, we believe great work deserves fair pay — and that transparency builds trust. For this role, the gross annual starting salary (full-time, based in Austria) is EUR 70,000. That’s our baseline for candidates who meet the key requirements. If you bring more to the table — deeper experience, sharper skills — we’re ready to reflect that in your offer. Our internal compensation framework is designed to keep things fair, structured, and clear.
