We’re now seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager – Marketing to lead our national marketing, brand, and digital strategy — and continue to modernise one of Australia’s most recognisable retail brands.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this pivotal leadership role will shape and execute Clark Rubber’s marketing, brand, and digital growth strategy. You’ll lead a talented team across marketing, eCommerce — driving customer acquisition, retention, and engagement across all channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of a comprehensive brand and marketing strategy aligned with company objectives.
  • Create and execute an integrated marketing plan that strengthens brand positioning and drives business growth.
  • Act as custodian of the Clark Rubber brand, ensuring consistency and quality across all customer touchpoints.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives, including eCommerce optimisation, CRM, and marketing automation.
  • Manage the National Marketing Fund, ensuring all marketing activity is ROI‑driven and strategically aligned.
  • Support franchisee marketing through effective local area marketing programmes, resources, and advice.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, agencies, and franchise partners.
About You

You’re a strategic, commercially minded marketing leader with a passion for retail and digital transformation. You combine creative vision with data‑driven decision‑making and have the leadership presence to inspire high‑performing teams.

Your background will:
  • A tertiary qualification in Marketing, Advertising, or Business.
  • Proven experience developing and executing marketing strategy, ideally in a retail or franchise environment.
  • Deep knowledge of digital marketing, SEO/SEM, paid media, UX/UI optimisation, and eCommerce growth.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to link marketing activity to measurable business outcomes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
