About the Role
As General Manager (GM) Client Partnerships, you’ll hold a pivotal Executive position driving commercial strategy and client growth across our business.
- Strategic Influence: As a member of the ELT reporting to the CEO, you’ll shape our client partnership strategy, identify market opportunities, and contribute directly to business direction and strategic growth.
- Commercial Leadership: Own the end-to-end commercial lifecycle of major partnerships including RFI/RFP responses, contractual negotiations, pricing, and renewals. Optimising value while managing risk and aligning with operational capabilities.
- Executive Client Management: Develop trust, satisfaction, and retention through regular engagement, embedding robust feedback mechanisms and proactive issue resolution.
- Cross-functional Excellence: Partner with internal stakeholders to deliver integrated client‑focused solutions that align with client service level expectations and operational business objectives.
- Culture and Capability: Champion a high‑performance client‑centric culture by embedding customer feedback into decision‑making processes and initiative design.
- Market Presence: Represent RS across industry bodies and professional forums, elevating our brand visibility and influence within the recoveries and mercantile sector.
About You
- Senior leadership experience (5+ years) in client relationship management, business development, or account leadership within B2B service environments
- Proven track record managing enterprise accounts and delivering measurable revenue and margin growth
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex commercial agreements and drive favourable outcomes for all stakeholders
- Strong commercial acumen with deep understanding of pricing models, contract structures, and revenue forecasting
- Proven ability to lead and inspire cross‑functional teams towards shared goals
- Data‑informed decision‑maker who uses client metrics, performance data, and market insights to inform strategy
Highly Valued
- Experience in the Recoveries, Legal or Mercantile services sector.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, Finance or a related field.
- Track record leading organisational growth and transformation activities.
- Proven ability to represent organisations effectively in industry forums and professional networks.
