Job summary

Trever in Graz is hiring a backend-focused software engineer to drive features from concept to deployment, building data models, APIs, and the user-facing experience.

You will design fast, secure microservices in Go and contribute to a Vue 3 frontend, while writing comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure reliability before production. This hybrid role offers flexible hours and a central Graz location.

Job description

Your Responsibilities

• Take features from concept to deployment: data models, backend logic, APIs, and the user-facing experience.
• Design and implement fast, secure, and scalable microservices in Go (Golang) - with an eye for precision, performance, and maintainability.
• Contribute to our Vue 3 application to ensure that your backend logic integrates smoothly and delivers a clean user experience.
• Write automated tests (Unit & Integration) and ensure every piece is reliable before it reaches production.
• Collaborate closely with our Backend, Frontend, QA, and Product Teams to solve complex problems together.

Your Profile

• 3+ years of experience as a software engineer, ideally with a strong backend foundation and the willingness to work across the full stack.
• Solid knowledge in Go (Golang) and modern backend architectures.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and a modern frontend framework (Vue, React, Angular).
• Confidence in writing clean, tested, and maintainable code.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and cloud-native tooling (Docker, Kubernetes).

Gross-Salary

We guarantee a competitivegross-salary between 3,500 € and 5,500 € per monthfor a full-time position (38,5h) based on your responsibilities, qualifications and experience.
