Job summary

Accion Labs Europe is seeking a Python Full Stack Developer to join an agile development team. You will build end-to-end web applications and contribute to data pipelines powering business applications for an international client.

You will collaborate with .NET Full Stack Developers and follow agile practices in Azure DevOps, delivering robust RESTful APIs, scalable data pipelines and well-modeled relational databases.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python with strong language fundamentals and libraries.
• Experience with Python data engineering tools and frameworks.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Familiar with relational databases and ORM mappings (SQL Server).
• Experience in agile teams using Azure DevOps.

Job description

We are looking for a Python Full Stack Developer to join an agile development team working on business applications and data solutions for an international client. You will build web applications end to end, from the database and backend APIs to the user interface, and contribute to the data engineering pipelines that feed them. You will work in the same team as our .NET Full Stack Developers, following agile practices in Azure DevOps.

What we are looking for

• Strong proficiency in Python, with a deep understanding of its syntax, libraries and frameworks
• Hands-on experience with Python data engineering frameworks: dlt, dbt and PySpark
• Experience with Python web frameworks (Django, Flask) and RESTful API design
• Solid experience with relational databases and ORM frameworks, including SQL Server 2019 or newer
• Experience working in agile software development teams using Azure DevOps
• Good communication skills in English and the ability to work well in a team

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms, ideally Azure
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with .NET, as you will work closely with .NET developers
