Parallel Consulting is seeking a seasoned Java developer to contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise web-based applications in the financial services sector.

You will write high-quality, well-documented code, implement unit tests, and collaborate with international teams to deliver reliable technical solutions.

Competenze

• 7+ years of hands-on software development experience with Java stack.
• Knowledge of Hibernate, SQL, SOAP, JAXB and the Spring Framework.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD and source code management tools (Gradle, SVN, Git).
• Experience maintaining long-standing enterprise applications with legacy codebases.

• Contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise web-based applications for the financial services sector, supporting a Cover Pool Management solution within the Sustainable/Public Finance domain.
• Producing high-quality, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to development best practices.
• Creating and executing unit tests to ensure the reliability and stability of developed software components.
• Collaborating with international teams and business stakeholders to deliver effective technical solutions.

Required Experience & Technical Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on software development experience with Java, Hibernate, SQL, SOAP, JAXB, and Spring Framework.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and source code management tools such as Gradle, SVN, and Git.
• Ability to support, enhance, and maintain long-standing enterprise applications, including systems with a legacy codebase spanning 15+ years.
• Experience developing and maintaining unit and integration tests.
• Basic knowledge of banking and financial services, ideally with exposure to Cover Pool Management.
