Job summary

ThoughtLabs Belgium is seeking an experienced IT professional to join our Vienna-area team. The role focuses on building web-based UIs with Angular and strong backend WebAPI services using .NET Core and C#.

You will work in a cross-functional, agile environment using Azure DevOps, contributing to data-intensive applications and modern APIs. Ideal candidates have 6+ years in IT, solid SQL Server experience, and familiarity with ORM frameworks.

Qualifications

• University degree in IT or relevant discipline with 6+ years of experience.
• 3+ years building web UIs with Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS3, and listed frameworks.
• 3+ years developing WebAPI backends with .NET/.NET Core and C#.
• SQL Server 2019+ experience; relational DBs and ORMs.
• Experience in Agile teams using Azure DevOps.
• Experience with data lake houses/Trino is a plus; Docker and RabbitMQ are a plus.
• Experience with Event Sourcing is a plus.
• Excellent command of the English language.

Job description

• University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 6 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• At least 3 years of experience in building web-based user interfaces using Angular with proficiency in TypeScript, HTML, CSS3, ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC5 and/or Django, Flask, FastAPI with Python;
• At least 3 years of experience in developing WebAPI backends with .Net/.Net Core framework and C#;
• Experience in SQL Server 2019 and above;
• Solid understanding of relational databases and related ORM frameworks;
• Working in agile software development teams using Azure DevOps;
• Experience building advanced analytical and statistical software solutions would be an asset;
• Experience with consuming data from a data lake house or data services (Trino) would be an asset;
• Experience with Docker and RabbitMQ would be an asset;
• Experience with Event Sourcing systems would be an asset;
• Excellent command of the English language.
