The successful candidate’s research should focus on the scientific foundations and further development of training, exercise performance, performance diagnostics, and competition, as well as their evidence-based application in various areas of sport.
A strong commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration with related disciplines in the field of sport and exercise sciences at the Centre, as well as with relevant institutes, faculties, and centres throughout the university, is expected. Experience in collaborating with external, non-university partners and a successful track record in competitive third-party funding acquisition are required.
The successful candidate will become part of a dynamic and internationally oriented research environment. As Austria’s largest research institution in the field of sports and human movement science, the Centre offers excellent conditions for innovative and independent research, interdisciplinary collaboration, and active involvement in national and international scientific networks.
