Epitome Therapeutics, an early-stage Vienna biotech spin-off from EMBL, seeks a Founder’s Associate – Operations & Finance to work directly with the CEO on investor relations, finance, and operations. This role combines strategic projects with hands-on execution across fundraising, grant management, and operational systems.

The position offers full-time or part-time options (min. 24 h/week) in Vienna, with strong career growth and exposure to strategic initiatives in a fast-growing biotech

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Management, or a related field.
• Financial literacy, including budgets, P&L, balance sheets, and financial reports.
• Prior exposure to start-ups, venture capital, consulting, project management, or investor-facing environments is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English.
• Affinity for AI tools, digital workflows, and process automation.
• Strong numeracy, accuracy, and attention to detail for financial documents and reconciliation.
• Discretion and reliability handling confidential financial, investor, and company information.
• Flexible, entrepreneurial mindset; comfortable in a fast-moving environment and cross-functional collaboration.
• Hands-on ownership mindset; pride in operational detail and getting tasks done.

Aufgaben

• Partner closely with the CEO on investor relations, fundraising activities, and stakeholder communication with investors, board members, EMBL, and strategic partners.
• Prepare investor updates, board materials, pitch decks, presentations, and partnership documents with attention to detail.
• Manage grant administration, including grant tracking, budget monitoring, and reports for agencies such as FFG and AWS.
• Interface with external finance and accounting partners; support financial administration and monthly management reporting.
• Leverage AI-supported workflows; identify opportunities to automate processes and improve efficiency.
• Conduct market research and competitive intelligence to support positioning, fundraising, and strategy.
• Coordinate conference participation, partnering activities, stakeholder meetings, travel arrangements, and day-to-day operations.
• Drive process optimization and build scalable systems as the company grows.
