Binca manufaktur in Perschling, just outside St. Pölten, Austria, is seeking a capable foreman to lead our fresh fish production operations. You will commission equipment, monitor processes, and guide daily tasks from prep to packaging, while ensuring safety and hygiene standards.

Qualifikationen

• Vocational training in the food environment is desirable.
• Experience as foreman or machine/plant operator is preferred.
• Experience leading teams is advantageous.
• Experience in a line-managed production plant in the food sector is a plus.
• Very good knowledge of German is required.
• High quality and hygiene awareness are essential.
• Physical resilience and willingness to work in refrigerated areas (0–8°C).
• Technical understanding is expected.

Aufgaben

The brand new binca manufaktur in Perschling - just outside the gates of St. Pölten, the capital of Lower Austria - is Austria's largest and most modern fresh fish processing and refinement manufactory.
We are part of the binca group, a strong group of companies specialising in fish and seafood, which operates its own production facilities in Belgium and Austria. Your contribution to success:

• You are responsible for commissioning the production equipment and ensuring its proper operation
• You monitor and optimize production processes
• You actively participate in production tasks, such as preparation, processing, packaging, labeling, and cleaning the equipment and work areas
• You are also responsible for managing production staff, scheduling personnel, and planning daily operations
• You serve as the liaison between production management and other areas within production
• You conduct quality controls and document the results
• You are also responsible for ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and hygiene standards

• Completed vocational training desirable, preferably in the food environment
• Relevant experience as a foreman, machine or plant operator
• Experience in leading teams

For this position, a gross monthly salary on a full-time basis of € 2,240.38 plus a voluntary hardship allowance of € 180 and a foreman’s allowance of € 600 is provided.
