Michael Page have partnered with an ASX-listed resources services business located south of the Perth CBD to recruit a Senior Financial Accountant into their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Client Details

A proud Australian business, our client is listed on the Australian Stock Exchange and works within the resources services space. Due to company growth, the business is now seeking to recruit a Senior Financial Accountant to strengthen its reporting function.

Description

Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, the key duties of this role will include:

• Preparing and compiling ASX reporting
• Support group consolidation process
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Preparing group statutory reporting obligations
• Support external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and information
• Maintain and improve financial controls and processes
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective financial management and reporting
• Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic financial decision‑making

Profile

The successful candidate will possess:

• CA or CPA qualification (required)
• Prior experience working within an ASX‑listed environment (required)
• Mining industry experience (desired)
• Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
