The Role in Action

As a Finance Business Partner (FBP) at Horizon Power, you will play acritical role in empowering financially sound planning and decision-makingacross the organisation. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will bridge the gapbetween finance and divisions, deliver actionable insights, and enable leadersto make informed decisions that drive profitability and growth.

You will combine strategic financial expertise with strong communication andtechnology skills to simplify complex analysis into clear, compellingnarratives.

Your Role will:

Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis

• Execute strategic businessplans, forecasts, budgeting, reporting, and financial analysis to align withHorizon Power's objectives.
• Evaluate business cases and perform scenarioanalysis, including financial modeling (NPV, IRR) and pricing for tenders.
• Monitor budget variances, providerecommendations, and ensure alignment with corporate standards.
• Leverage real-time data and KPIs to deliverinsights that drive commercial decision-making.

Decision Support & Coaching

• Act as a thought partner to executives and divisional leaders,providing strategic insights to achieve performance targets.
• Simplify FP&A analysis into digestiblebusiness logic and train decision makers on financial tools and concepts.
• Use storytelling and visualisationtechniques to communicate financial perspectives effectively.
• Challenge assumptions and guide stakeholdersthrough root-cause analysis to reduce bias and improve decisions.

Process Improvement & TechnologyEnablement

• Identify opportunities for costoptimisation and efficiency improvements.
• Drive process automation and collaboratewith technology teams to develop intuitive decision-support tools.
• Advocate for adoption of digital tools andembed financial insights into operational processes.

Skills and Experience

• Degree in Finance, Commercial, Accounting, or related discipline (CPA/CApreferred).
• Proven previous business partnering experience and strong commercialfinancial skills are a must.
• Expert knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Strong understanding of P&L, KPIs, and financial modeling.
• Advanced proficiency in budgeting systems(TM1/OneStream), reporting tools (Power BI), and digital technologies.
• Ability to coach and train decision makers, challenge assumptions, and drivestrategic outcomes.
